The relatively small turnout for today’s meeting is probably because track and field is not yet back in full swing for 2014. The highlight would probably be the return of several sprinters back from injury.
In the men's high jump Mark Tinkle (SM) battled it out with Angus Baker (BU16) with both getting to 1.8m, Baker could be someone to watch.
Stephen Day loves jumping over things and competed in the 400m hurdles and the 3000m steeplechase. I believe Day's time of 9.58.12 for the steeple could be a PB.
Out on the field Ariana Blackwood mixed it up with the masters men in the discus, shot-put and javelin events. Results
